Maxxima, owners of Labmed and Swim Recruitment, have been named the sixth
fastest growing company in the UK in the tenth annual “Fast Track 100”
awards.
The prestigious award, sponsored by Virgin Atlantic, HSBC,
PricewaterhouseCoopers, Microsoft, KPMG and Deloitte and published by
the Sunday Times, ranks Britain’s hundred fastest-growing unquoted
companies by analysing sales growth between 2002 and 2005.
Last year’s winner was hair styling manufacturers ghd with other
previously ranked companies including Innocent Fruit Drinks, Gordon
Ramsey Holdings and Jimmy Choo Shoes.
Company Director Martin Harris is understandably proud of his company’s
achievements. “This company has been built on a foundation of sound
ethics. We identified that the market was crying out for an honest
company able to provide staff that were in high demand and short
supply. Our success has been testimony to that philosophy and we are
immensely proud that this award now provides us with official
recognition of that.”
The Fast Track 100 list was published in a special Sunday Times
supplement on Sunday 3rd December. Representatives from the 100 ranked
companies are honoured at an awards dinner held at the home of Sir
Richard Branson, Chairman of title sponsors Virgin Atlantic.
