Labmed was established in 2001 and is now an established recruitment agency within the healthcare sector.

As well as offering traditional recruitment solutions to their clients, Labmed now provides Master Vendor recruitment services to the NHS via the Labmed collaborative.

The collaborative is comprised of Labmed Recruitment supplying all AHP and HSS professions and Piers Meadows Recruitment supplying all Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists. The partnership was created in December 2006 in order to provide the NHS with a robust Vendor Managed Solution able to provide large scale cost savings whilst still retaining the expert knowledge and attention to detail associated with more specialist agencies in the market.
